Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the Blount Plumbing website, the Blount Plumbing text-messaging program, and plumbing services provided by Legacy Group Services LLC, doing business as Blount Plumbing, 1125 Moores Mill Rd, Temple, TX 76501.

Estimates & pricing

We quote flat-rate, written prices before work begins — the price we quote is the price you pay for the approved scope. Estimates are good-faith assessments based on the conditions we can see; hidden conditions (corroded piping inside walls, code upgrades, inaccessible work areas) can change scope, and we get your approval before any added work or cost. Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Scheduling & cancellation

Appointment windows are confirmed by text or call. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a scheduled appointment — repeated no-shows may require prepayment of the service-call fee to rebook. Emergency dispatch is prioritized by severity; quoted arrival windows are estimates, not guarantees.

Payment terms

Payment is due when work is completed unless a financing arrangement or written terms say otherwise. We accept cards, checks, cash, and approved financing through our lending partners. Card payments carry a surcharge of no more than 3%, disclosed before you pay, where permitted by law — debit cards, cash, and checks carry no surcharge. Invoices unpaid after 30 days may accrue a late charge as stated on the invoice and may be referred for collection.

Workmanship warranty

We warrant our workmanship: if a repair or installation fails because of our work within the warranty period stated on your invoice, we come back and make it right at no charge. Equipment and fixtures carry the manufacturer's warranty — we register and track them for you. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, freezing, pre-existing conditions outside the repaired scope, or work altered by others.

Limitation of liability

To the extent Texas law allows, our liability for any claim arising from service is limited to the amount you paid for the work at issue. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, or for pre-existing conditions we did not create and disclosed before work began.

Governing law

These terms and any service dispute are governed by Texas law, with jurisdiction and venue in Bell County, Texas. Licensing and regulatory details are on our Legal & Licensing page.

Blount Plumbing SMS program

When you provide your mobile number and consent, Blount Plumbing sends service-related text messages from (254) 791-5528 and associated company numbers. Messages include appointment confirmations, technician on-the-way alerts with tracking links, scheduling callbacks, and estimate and invoice follow-ups about work you have booked with us.

• How you opt in: customers opt in by giving their mobile number and consenting during a service-booking call with our staff, or by entering their number on our website booking/contact form. Verbal opt-ins are confirmed with a confirmation text restating these terms.
• Message frequency: varies with your job activity — typically a few messages per service visit.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message to end texts at any time. Reply START to resubscribe.
• Help: reply HELP or INFO, or call (254) 791-5528.
• Supported carriers: all major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• No sharing: mobile numbers and SMS consent are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
