Blount Plumbing ("we," "us"), is located at 1125 Moores Mill Rd, Temple, TX 76501. This policy explains what we collect when you book a job, view an estimate or statement, track a technician, or apply for financing through our site, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Contact and job details: your name, service address, phone number, email, and the details of your plumbing job.
• Billing records: estimates, invoices, and payment status.
• Financing information (only if you apply): if you choose a lender on our site, we send that lender your name, phone number, and the estimated job amount to start your application.
• Bank details (only if bank payments are offered): our payment partner Plaid may collect your bank-account information through its secure Plaid Link flow. We receive a payment token, never your bank password.
• Basic technical data: our servers log IP addresses and browser details as part of normal operation. We use a session cookie so pages work; we do not run advertising trackers.

How we use it

To schedule and perform your work, prepare estimates and invoices, process payments, provide your live estimate, statement, and technician-tracking links, and communicate with you about your job — including by call or text when you have consented.

We do not sell your personal information — to anyone, for any reason. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Who we share it with

• Financing lenders — only when you ask. When you pick a lender (such as Sunbit, Service Finance, or Acorn) and continue, we send them your name, phone number, and the estimated amount. The rest of the application happens on the lender's own site, under that lender's privacy policy.
• Payment processors that run our card and bank payments, including Plaid when bank payments are connected.
• Service providers who host or help operate our systems under contract.
• Authorities when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Job, estimate, invoice, and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires — generally about seven years. The public links we send you are token-gated and stop working when your job is complete. You can ask us to rotate or disable your statement link at any time.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we will honor requests subject to records we are legally required to keep (tax, accounting, warranty, and active-job records). Texas law requires us to maintain reasonable procedures to protect sensitive personal information and to dispose of records securely — we do both. Reply STOP to any service text to end messages.

How we protect it

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS), token-gated customer links instead of public account logins, and access limited to staff who need it to do their jobs. Card payments are entered on our payment processor's secure checkout — we do not store card numbers. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we will notify you as Texas law requires.
