Frequently Asked Questions

Serving Temple, Belton, and Central Texas — licensed, insured, family-owned.

Do you charge for estimates?

No. We look at the job first, then give you a written flat-rate quote before any work starts. The price we quote is the price you pay — no hourly meter running.

Are you available for emergencies?

Blount Plumbing is launching soon. Call or text (254) 791-5547 for service questions, or email [email protected] for launch information. For urgent repairs, contact an available licensed plumber.

Are your technicians licensed and background-checked?

Every technician on your property is licensed, insured, and background-checked — our name is on the truck and we stand behind the person we send. You'll see your tech's name and photo on your tracking link before they arrive.

What areas do you serve?

Temple, Belton, Salado, Troy, Moody, and surrounding Central Texas communities. If you're on the edge of the map, ask — the booking form checks your ZIP automatically and we'll confirm coverage on the spot.

Do you offer financing?

Yes — bigger jobs (water heaters, repipes, sewer work) can be financed through our lending partners with a quick application and usually a same-day decision. Ask for the financing option on your estimate.

Do you guarantee your work?

Workmanship is warranted — if something we installed or repaired fails because of our work, we come back and make it right. Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment we install; we register and track them for you.

How do I prepare my plumbing for a Texas freeze?

Before freezing weather, disconnect garden hoses and protect exposed plumbing using instructions suited to your home and equipment. Keep indoor heat on. Where opening sink cabinets lets warm air reach pipes, first move harmful cleaners out of children's reach. Follow your water utility's current guidance about dripping exposed-pipe faucets and water use.

Identify your home's shutoff before an emergency. If a pipe bursts, use that valve only when you can reach and operate it safely from a dry location. Stay clear of standing water and wet electrical equipment; do not force a stuck valve. If you need help, contact your water utility or an available licensed plumber. Blount Plumbing is launching soon; contact us for launch information.

Can I track my technician?

Yes — your appointment text includes a live tracking link with your tech's name, photo, and ETA. You'll know exactly who's coming and when they pull up.

What payment methods do you take?

Cards, checks, cash, and financing — invoices are payable online through your statement link, no app required.

Do you have a maintenance plan?

Yes — our membership covers annual inspections, water-heater flush, priority scheduling, and member pricing. Manage or cancel it anytime from your customer portal — no phone-tree required.
